  • The camera's built-in metering system does NOT work when shooting fully manual. To use the meter, set the aperture ring to "A" for automatic, which enables shutter priority mode. The PX625 mercury batteries that this camera originally used are now outlawed in many countries because they are toxic. Modern alternatives exist, known as 625A.
